HP Elite Dragonfly G3 12th Gen Core i7 Laptop in Pakistan
Bringing in the new iteration of the Dragonfly series is the HP Elite Dragonfly G3 Notebook PC, which is powered by the latest and greatest Intel’s Alder Lake series processors, which helps to make the package more powerful and efficient.
Design
The overall form factor of the design is on purpose slim and sleek, and also pretty rigid at the same time, this is done to make it flawlessly portable. The screen fitted requires a single hand to open, and makes the package evenly balanced from all the ends.
12th Generation Processor
The processor located under the bonnet is the 12th Generation of Intel Core i7 1255u, Alder Lake processor, which integrates inside 2 performance cores and 8 efficiencies together which are optimized together to deliver a capable performing notebook, which can be moved from one point to the other without compromising over the performance.
The included performance cores are clocked at a base clock frequency of 1.7 GHz, which in the need for more potential can be overclocked using Intel’s Turbo Boost Technology, making the setup potent so that it can handle any modern-day task with no problem. Alongside that, the performance cores are efficiency cores which assist in reducing the power consumption over the past iterations, to stretch the battery capacity. This means that the power consumption is limited to 15 watts at a minimum of 55 watts maximum.
On top of that, the integrated Intel Iris Xe Graphics are assigned to handle all kinds of visual processing the device requires in the absence of a discrete GPU. With the render clock frequency of 1.25 GHz, which also supports Direct x 12.1, and is also capable of output at a maximum of 4k resolution at 60Hz.
Memory and Storage
The setup packs inside an onboard soldered memory of LPDDR5, which is provided with a clock speed of a whopping 6400 MHz, and packs 16 GB. The memory is tuned to take full advantage of the memory handling capabilities of the CPU, which then adds to the multitasking experience of the device.
Alongside that is the storage drive which is a PCIe Gen NVMe TLC Solid State Drive, that boards a capacity of 512 GB, which can also be upgraded down the line with a higher capacity, for more capable storage. While the existing one also aims to provide a stable data read and write experience. The laptop is made sustainable by making the storage upgradable, which means one can easily replace the original SSD with a higher capacity or a potent drive while sustaining the overall package.
Display
The notebook is provided with a 34.3 cm/13.5-inch diagonal IPS panel which displays the processed content at a wonderful resolution of WUXGA+ at 1920 x 1280. Besides that, the touch support also allows the user to directly interact with the computer. It also supports the HP-exclusive feature of BrightView, which allows Dragon Fly to reach a maximum achievable brightness of 1000 nits so that being seated in difficult light conditions or an external environment will not cause any problem or obstacle in your workflow. The produced picture also covers 72% of the NTSC space and also supports the Sure View integrated privacy screen so that your content is projected towards you only.
Battery
The battery packed inside is an HP Long-Life 6-cell Lithium-Ion Polymer unit, with 68 Wh., for which the package includes an HP Smart 65 W USB Type-C AC adapter, which helps the device up to 50% within 30 minutes when the system is off or in standby mode
Keyboard and Trackpad
The keyboard provided is an HP Premium Keyboard which is a spill-resistant, LED backlit keyboard, that provides some of the best typing experience currently on the market. Below that is the fully clickable Clickpad with multi-touch gesture support, and taps enabled as default.
Other Specs
